Hi Robert, I gave your name out to a high level developer yesterday and remembered that you were looking for a referral so here is a quickie: PCL is an accomplished provider of detailed interior and exterior finishes of many types and styles. The President, Robert Valitutti performed admirably on our recent LEED certified project at 53 Hemford Crescent.
He personally delivered a large part of the contract himself together with his experienced workers throughout several complex contract stages making adjustments on the go based on new requirements arising. A large part of the project incorporated cathedral ceilings with highly finished wooden surfaces and over 80 windows and doors having sophisticated fenestration and trim details.
I highly recommend his company to tackle any complex residential or commercial project of this kind." I can put this on letterhead but I will need my secretary to do this next week.

A Job Very Well Done
Robert we have been enjoying the neighbourhoods reaction since you left. Everyone is making a point of stopping to tell us how fantastic the house looks. As great as the house looks they really have no idea of how much detail and preparation you and your boys put into the job. I was really amazed at how much work was done prior to the siding going up, to ensure the house would be dry and maintenance free. I expect we are like most homeowners, focused on the final look, without enough understanding going into the level of care to what goes under it all. So, were glad that you remained intent on the integrity of the job throughout. I have to compliment you, you really did earn the business, we did talk to several different individuals prior to committing the job to you, but with each person we spoke to it become more apparent you were the most professional (by far), you also never balked to make a personal visit to discuss certain issues (really just to assure us...lol). Your knowledge and experience became more and more evident each time we saw you. As a homeowner with lots of prior experience with various contractors, I wanted to emphasize the satisfaction we had with your crews. From start to finish there was a crew here every day all day. That in itself is a bit of an anomaly in the industry. But when timing became an issue it was a delight to see so many men on the job. And to see the job move forward so quickly and efficiently. Not to mention watching the skill level. A job very well done Robert, you may use pictures of the house and/ or this message in your marketing material in the future.

Happy and Proud of the Work
We hired Robert and his crew to add framing, insulation and James Hardie siding to our cement block home in 2015. The work also included a new roof, porch, deck and eaves. There were a lot of other things like a new door, moving the dryer vent, exterior lighting, etc that went along with the process. We were nervous about the size (and cost) of the job. Robert walked us through every option and was patient with my indecision and hesitancy. He offered gentle advice and support so that I could feel comfortable. In the end, we chose Robert because his previous work and vision seemed the most closely aligned to what I wanted for our home. We spoke to other contractors and considered wood, vinyl and stucco. Roberts pricing was a good value for the product when we compared to other companies and products. I am SO glad we chose Robert and James Hardie. I have heard horror stories about contractors. Dealing with Robert and his team was the exact opposite of that. They gave regular updates on the start date as it got closer and once they began, they did not leave until it was done. The main team was the most pleasant group of workers you could ever want to have at your house. They were friendly and kind to our family, including our children. When my mother arrived from out of town, they helped her bring her luggage into the house! They were friendly with our nieghbours and put up with everyone's opinion and questions. They gave advice when asked and worked hard day in and day out. The only days they didn't come were very rainy days, and even then, if there was a break in the rain, they tried to fit in some work. Any issues that came up were dealt with and extra work we decided on was clearly explained with written estimates and options. When the job was done, I think we missed them. It's been six months and my three year old daughter still plays pretend where she gets out tools is a "worker" named Robert who builds things. She asks me to be Frank and build with her. The finished product is amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The house is a different house, it has made such an improvement. People stop me in the street and ask if it's my house and tell me how nice it looks and what a difference it has made. We had a picky contractor who had done work inside our house over to visit and he was amazed at the workmanship, attention to detail and finishing on our exterior. When I come home at the end of each day, I no longer get upset at all the work that needs to be done. It's done! I feel relaxed and happy to be home and proud that it's ours.
